About

You’ll likely be tired from the drive the night before from Bryce Canyon to Page, Arizona which takes about 3 hours. However, you need to set an early alarm since it’s going to be a long day. Note: There will be a time change going from Bryce to Page.

Start the morning with a sunrise at Horseshoe Bend. It is very easy to get to from the hotels in Page and only a short walk from the parking lot to the lookout. Bring some water since it is dry and dusty, and also a sweater since the mornings can be chilly.

Pro Tip: There is no railing and every year someone dies falling off the edge. Please don’t be that person. You can get a good picture or adrenaline rush at a safe distance.

Key Note: Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon are right next to each other. Depending on the time you are able to get a reservation for the Antelope Canyon tour you can come to Horseshoe Bend later in the day. Just make sure you are on the road to Monument Valley by 12:30pm.

Itinerary

  • 5:15am Sunrise at Horseshoe Bend
  • 7:00am Breakfast in Page
  • 10:00am Antelope Canyon Tour

Tips

  1. Don’t get to close to the edge
  2. Bring water for the walk
  3. Relax for a while
