Road Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Drive 8 hours from Denver, Colorado to Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming and claim a first come first serve campsite. Then head into Jackson Hole. It would be easier to fly into and start from Jackson Hole, WY.
Day 2: Explore the Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks.
Day 3: Drive back to Denver, CO.
Weather Considerations
For our trip in late June into early July it was comfortable in both the mornings and nights with only pants and a sweat shirt. We were fortunate with weather and had sunny skies the whole time. However, when we were leaving the park on our third day there was a thunderstorm were rolling in.
